We believe in unplugging and minimizing what separates us from one another and the natural world.

We believe in intentional community building to enhance group experience and practice interpersonal skills. 

 We believe in local knowledge. Kids should be able to name their local mountains, rivers, plants, and animals. 

  We believe that kids should do hard things with caring and knowledgeable adults there to support them.   

  We believe that kids need good role models and clear expectations of behavior to practice on a daily basis. 

  We believe in developmentally appropriate activities and lessons that change as kids get older
